Safety Hazard Corrected

Martinsburg Borough Council learned Monday night that one safety hazard on Spring Street has been corrected, but it focused its attention on how to begin solving yet another safety hazard on that street, a deep ditch between the street and Hershberger Pond.

Thirty-four crafters have reserved space for the craft show that will be held as part of the July 4 celebration at Morrisons Cove Memorial Park.

Six members of the Martinsburg Grace Brethren Church left for Novosibirsk, Russia, Saturday.

Members of the Claysburg-Kimmel Parent Teacher Organization, under the direction of Cathy Barnes, president, provided elementary students with a special carnival to celebrate the end of the school year.

Crystal Garner has completed the requirements to earn the Girl Scout Silver Award.

SC Medial Center blasted G.W. Sipes at the NB Little League Field.
