Six Men Injured, One Dies

Six young men from Claysburg were injured in a motor accident at Sproul. Fatally injured was Stephen Blazevitch, 22. Four others were still patients at Nason Hospital: Donald W. Nickum, Arnold Diehl, David Hlay and Fred Shor. William F. Black was discharged.

Plans for operation of a non-profit egg marketing program were announced at a dinner meeting of the directors of the Cove Farm Bureau Cooperative Association by Owen L. Barkley, general manager of the association at Curryville.

T4 Sgt. Frank G. Amick of Martinsburg died at Percy Jones General Hospital in Battle Creek, Mich., after a long illness due to a brain tumor.

Mrs. Sara Davy of Martinsburg ended a 32-year teaching career.

The Martinsburg Daily Vacation Bible School purchased a heifer to be shipped overseas to aid in foreign relief as its summer project. The children and parents contributed $150 for its purchase.
