Eight members of the Central Cove FFA Chapter took part in the PA State FFA competitions during several days in May. All contests were held virtually this year due to the cancellation of an in-person state convention.
Central's land use team placed second in the state. Team members included Lily Sollenberger (second-place individual and plaque winner), daughter of Eric and Jamie Sollenberger of Curryville; Sam Stahl, son of Sam and Tobi Stahl of Williamsburg; and Keller Metzker, son of Wes and Sherry Metzker of Williamsburg. All three members earned gold medal recognition.
