School Board Announces Health and Safety Plan

The Williamsburg Community School District voted 8-0 for the new 2021-22 school year’s Health and Safety Plan during the last Tuesday, July 20, meeting.

In the plan, face coverings are optional for all students, staff, parents/guardians and other visitors on school grounds, regardless of vaccination status. However, on the school bus, mask mandates will still be in order.

Other parts of the plan include: classrooms will still be physically distanced, school district will provide sanitizer and daily cleaning will be done of all school buildings.
