A large flouring mill in McKee was totally destroyed by fire. The fire was said to have originated in the upper story of the mill. The loss was estimated at $5,000.

Another fire destroyed a Williamsburg barn. The occupant, Mr. Estep farmed the property and lost hay, oats, harness, farming implements and one hog. The barn was owned by John L. Miller. The loss was $1,500, all of which was covered by insurance. Cause of the blaze was undetermined.

Mrs. Blackburn of Roaring Spring suffered injuries when her carriage horse trotted off without being hitched to the cart. Wh...
