Spur to Help Write Grants for Borough

Mike Biddle, a part of Spur LLC, presented to Borough on Monday, Aug. 3, about a relationship between Spur and the Borough.

Spur wants to help write grants to fund the town, Biddle explained.

“We played little league here, ate pizza at the Sizzler, and we really care about the community,” said Biddle.

Borough Council Member Ed Patterson said, “No way we can lose with this. It’s a good deal.”

The only cost to the Borough will be if Borough wins grants, and Spur is paid 10 percent of grant. Spur had already met with the finance committee and is committed to the grant project for...
