Cove Forge Walk-Offs Have Mayor Concerned About Safety

Clients walking away from the Cove Forge Behavioral Health Center near Williamsburg has residents on edge and Mayor Ted Hyle concerned for the safety of the town.
A town hall meeting with Cove Forge officials on Aug. 4 to discuss the walk-off problem offered little solution, with company officials admitting there is little they can do to keep clients from leaving the facility.
“We are trying to mitigate walk-offs but none of us can make them stay here,” said Security Consultant James Wolstrom.
