Williamsburg School Board Announces Plans for Co-Op

The elementary school hosted a STEM camp this summer and lots of students spent their days with Tanyalee Horton, a teacher with the district. Cousins Tucker and Colt Detwiler build a house.
A few weeks ago, Williamsburg Community School Board voted in favor of a varsity football co-op with Juniata Valley School District. When that decision was made, a lot of questions arose – especially about the band and cheerleaders.
During last Thursday's (Aug. 12) meeting, Superintendent Lisa Murgas announced some of those plans. The band will be performing with Juniata Valley for stands music and the National Anthem and will be switching between pre-game festivities and halftime shows, weekly. The cheerleaders will also be on the sidelines cheering with the Juniata Valley cheerleaders....
