Beautification Project Done at Spring Dam

After a recent call from a community member praising the "beautiful" new landscaping done at Spring Dam in Roaring Spring, the Herald reached out to Roaring Spring Borough Manager Lisa Peele.

Peele detailed the improvements made to the dam and named the people who made it possible.

"I had a vision, and this is exactly what I imagined," said Peele.

According to Peele, the spruce-up began with Claycomb Excavating cleaning up overgrown trees and shrubbery.

Roots in the Cove donated flowers for flower boxes.
