Wise Steps

If I have learned anything from working through the book of Proverbs, it should be the problem with pride. While I would like to think that the Lord has helped me stay humble, there are still weak spots. The fact that I have never had a drop of alcohol is something I am proud of. That is not a bad thing to take pride in. However, at times, I think my alcohol-free record has led to me looking down on others who choose to drink. The Bible does not ban the drinking of alcohol.
