Central cruised to a 46-15 road victory over Forest Hills Friday, Sept. 3. Junior quarterback Jeff Hoenstine was 19 for 27 in the air, connecting for 5 TD passes. Sophomore Hunter Smith and senior Devin Boyles each pulled down two of those scores, and Hoenstine found junior Eli Lingenfelter for another score. Smith, who led receivers with 6 catches for 93 yards, also added a score on the ground. Senior Parker Gregg was the go-to on the rushing attack with 11 carries for 119 yards and a touchdown. Hoenstine and junior Jason Clark led the defense with 7 tackles each. The 2-0 Dragons will travel this Friday, Sept. 10, to take on the winless Greater Johnstown Trojans.
