Hollidaysburg Bank Fails

The private banking house of Gardner, Morrow & Co. in Hollidaysburg, in business since 1850, closed its doors “owing to the general depression in business.” It pledged to repay depositors dollar for dollar when possible.

Annie, five-year-old daughter of D.T. Snowberger, died at her Martinsburg home from attack of diptheric croup.
