Sheriff Office Implements Prescription Drug Drop Box

The Blair County Sheriff’s Office has announced the implementation of a prescription drop off location for unused/unwanted medications. The secured drop container is located in the breezeway at the front of the Blair County Courthouse.

How to prepare items for disposal:

• All prescribed medications to be disposed of should be contained inside their original bottle or placed inside a small sealed container (i.e. plastic bottle) or resealable storage bag

• Personal information should be removed or marked out with a permanent marker
