Dairy Producers And Their Families Invited To Free Dairy Appreciation Dinners

Pennsylvania dairy producers and their families are invited to one of three free Dairy Appreciation Dinners. Hosted by the Center for Dairy Excellence, the events will be held on three dairy farms across the state on Saturday, Oct. 16, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. The free events will include an informal meal and conversation to celebrate dairy farmers’ essential roles and share the resources available across the industry. The events are free, but dairy producers are highly encouraged to pre-register their families.

“When things are uncertain, what’s important becomes clear and that was true this past year. The Pennsylvania dairy industry is supportive and hard-working, and it’s important for us to remember the power of community,” said Jayne Sebright, Executive Director at the Center for Dairy Excellence. “We look forward to coming together this fall for these Dairy Appreciation Dinners to offer encouragement to dairy farm families and celebrate their essential roles.”

The Dairy Appreciation Dinner for Central Pennsylvania will be held at Penn England LLC in Williamsburg on Saturday, Oct. 16, from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

At each event, dairy producers and their families can enjoy:

• A free dinner

• Informal conversation – families can stay for as little or as long as they would like

• Live music

• Resource-sharing from dairy industry organizations

• An overall atmosphere of positivity and encouragement
