Police seized approximately $250,000 worth of methamphetamine as well as cocaine, heroin, and fentanyl. Police said it was one of the largest drug seizures in Blair County history.
A Roaring Spring man and an Altoona woman who police said were bringing a large amount of methamphetamine into Blair County were arrested after police stopped their vehicle in Taylor Township on Aug. 26.
According to Altoona police, law enforcement had Erica Lynn Eckert, 43, along with Jayme Walter, 42, under surveillance and followed the couple from Allentown, PA where police said they had made a drug purchase.
