Southern Cove Fire Company held a Trunk or Treat on Sunday, Oct. 31, from 6 to 8 p.m. The weather was chilly, but there was no rain. Many children attended this event.
New Enterprise Church of the Brethren also held a Trunk or Treat on Sunday at the same time. This was planned so children could go to both events, which were within a block of each other. Southern Cove Fire Company provided signage, lighting and a fire truck to assure motorists went slow and all children were safe.
