Plane Crash Kills Four

Two prominent Morrisons Cove businessmen and their wives were killed in a fiery crash of a light airplane near Boalsburg, Centre County on Oct. 31. The victims were pilot David Showalter, 58 and his wife Gladys, 60, of Martinsburg RD1, and Merrill Raugh, 57 and his wife Geraldine, 56, of Roaring Spring. The plane, a single-engine Piper Cherokee owned by Mr. Showalter, came down at 2:50 p.m. along Rt. 45 and burst into flames.
