From the 'Burg to Your Kitchen

Round two, or week two for that matter, for Thanksgiving dishes. For the past couple of years, my mom, Suzanne, would always have to work for Thanksgiving and I would cook the meal. This year I finally get a break and my Mom gets to do some of her delicious cooking. This week, I am concentrating on two of the most important sides – the potatoes. I mean, it is everyone’s favorite part – right?

Fancy Mashed Potatoes


4-5 large potatoes

3 ounces cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup sour cream

1 Tbsp. chopped chives

3/4 tsp. onion salt

1/4 tsp. pepper

1 Tbsp. butter
