James Dale Hummel, 92, of Roaring Spring, passed away peacefully Monday Oct. 25, 2021, at the Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg.

He was born Jan. 13, 1929, in Shamokin, the son of the late James and Beatrice (Wilson) Hummel. He married Ann C. Custer on Sept. 18, 1954.

He is survived by his wife; three children: John S. Hummel (Natalie) of St. Augustine, Fla., David L. Hummel (Cheryl) of Huntingdon, and Susan Caccimelio (Jim) of Chalk Hill, six grandchildren: Meghan Braxtan (Jack), Michael Hummel (Brittany), Matthew Hummel, Elaina Neuder (Johnny), Annie Caccimelio, and Sadie Caccime...
