Bulldogs Fall Short to Devils

Claysburg-Kimmel's Cole Claycomb breaks loose for a 50-yard gain in third quarter action against Bellwood at Altoona's Mansion Park.

Claysburg-Kimmel fell to 4-6 on the season with a 25-8 loss last Friday, Oct. 29 to the Bellwood-Antis Blue Devils.

Junior QB Caleb Oakes completed 5 of 14 passes for 106 yards. Junior Cole Claycomb led the offense in both receiving and rushing, hauling in 4 catches for 103 yards and picking up 95 yards on the ground on 8 carries. Claycomb also topped the defense with 17 tackles, while Senior Pressten Imler, Junior Hunter Ehredt, and Sophomore Zach Campagna also registered double-digit tackles.

Claysburg will travel to Conemaugh Valley this Saturday, Nov. 6, to face the 5-5 Bluejays.
