Central 'Dragon Proud' of Golfer

Central High School Senior Jerry Brumbaugh was recently recognized at the Nov. 8 school board meeting for his accomplishments as a student-athlete.

Brumbaugh was the first Central High School golfer since Josh Jackson in 2003 to qualify for the PIAA individual Golf Championship Oct. 18 at Heritage Hills Country Club in York, Pa.

Brumbaugh finished 57th out of 72 golfers at that state meet.

"We are Dragon Proud of him," said Spring Cove School District Athletic Director Stacy Kuster.
