Home Lost to Fire

The William P. Stayer family of Pittsburgh, formerly of Roaring Spring, lost their home to fire. Two children were trapped on the third floor of the home, but were rescued by an older brother. Several family members were severely burned and were taken to a hospital.

Prof. C. A. Byers, formerly with the Morrisons Cove Vocational High School, underwent an operation for appendicitis at Huntingdon, Ind.
