Bedford, Blair, Fulton, Huntingdon 911 Telephone Outage Resolved

On Dec. 16, 2021, at approximately 7 a.m. the regional telephone switch serving the counties of Bedford, Blair, Fulton and Huntingdon experienced a hardware failure on the primary server. This hardware failure also prevented the planned redundant server to automatically take over the telephone activity. All counties went to backup procedures and emergency service agencies were notified until technicians could get on site and reset the failed piece of hardware.
