Carl Franklin Helsel

Carl Franklin Helsel, 96, of Blue Knob, rural Portage, Greenfield Township, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday morning, Dec. 8, 2021, at the Lutheran Home at Johnstown.

He was born Oct. 24, 1925, in Blue Knob, son of the late Francis and Ethel Marie (Long) Helsel.

He married Helen M. Coy Dec. 24, 1943, in Woodbury. She preceded him in death July 3, 2014, following 70 years of marriage.
