Giarth's family attended the event and gathered for a family photo with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Shown are members of Giarth's family (standing, from left): granddaughter Zoey, daughter Jess, son Adam and brother Rich; (seated, from left): sister Jodi and grandson Theo.
The Freedom Township Volunteer Fire Company held a children's Christmas Party on Sunday, Dec. 12. The party was in memory of Daniel "Butch" Giarth who organized the annual event until his death in 2020.
