Plans for Tomorrow

For weeks, my siblings and our families planned our annual holiday get together on Jan. 2 at my younger brother’s home. About a week before that, his wife was stricken with COVID. Soon after, two others in their family also got sick. As I type this, my sister-in-law is improving in the hospital. She went through a terrible ordeal in order to finally be admitted. Not only did our party plans fall apart, but we were given a new perspective and drawn into intense prayer.
