PA CareerLink in D-ville Reopens to the Public

In response to an increasing demand for job-seeker and employer assistance, PA CareerLink Blair County has reopened the Duncansville affiliate site located at 536 3rd Ave, Duncansville, PA 16635.

The site will be open Tuesday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This site is free to all job-seekers. Appointments are encouraged due to limited space. To sign up for an appointment at the Duncansville location, individuals should call (814) 317-5191. Walk-ins are welcome, but there could be a wait if appointments are scheduled ahead of them.

PA CareerLink offers free computer resources for job searches and individualized support for people entering or re-entering the workforce. Participants in PA CareerLink programs receive no-cost professional support and training to help them overcome obstacles and achieve success in finding wage sustaining employment.

The main Blair County PA CareerLink office, co-located in the Altoona Public Library at 1600 5th Ave, Altoona, PA 16602, is open Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
