Central Dragons Split Tough Competition

The Central Boys Basketball team found victory in half their games this week. An 80-77 loss Wednesday night to the Chestnut Ridge Lions and a 51-40 victory over the Johnstown Trojans leave the Dragons with an 8-2 record.

Tyrell Rolle led the Dragons against the Lions as the high scorer with 23 points. Eli Lingenfelter also put up 21 points for the Dragons. Seth Bean had 12 points, and Rylan Daugherty had 10 points, but the Dragons still fell to the Lions. Central's JV also lost to Chestnut Ridge 30-28. High scorer was Nick Garver with 7 points.
