The Morrisons Cove Memorial Park continued fundraising efforts to pull the park out of financial difficulties. Approximately 119 people attended a stakeholder meeting to show their support for the park and brainstorm ways to raise money. The Martinsburg Elementary School and the Homewood Chapel Fund announced contributions to the park at the meeting. Plans were made for a Celebration Dinner to honor Joe Hinish with proceeds going to the park.
