Plans were being made for the Blair County fair to be held from August 15 through August 18. It was hoped that the event would be the greatest ever held in this part or the state. A movement to have the state fair located in Altoona was also discussed.

Glenn Snyder celebrated his 13th birthday on January 13 with a party of 13 friends.

The friends surprised Glenn at his home in Roaring Spring.

A group of young people from Henrietta sledded over the snow to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd McGraw for an oyster supper.
