The Blair County Genealogical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 17, 2022, at the Roller-Hojeth Memorial Library, 431 Scotch Valley Rd.
Glenn Nelson Jr. will present “Finding Fort Roberdeau.”
Since May 2013, Mr. Nelson has served as the director of Fort Roberdeau, a Blair County park designated as a National Historic Site (1974) and conservation area.
Prior to his time at Fort Roberdeau, Mr. Nelson served as the Education Coordinator for Chester County Parks and Recreation Department from 1997 to 2012, where he led the department’s education programs at all county park sites....
