New Free COVID Testing Site in Altoona

The Department of Health announced  that free COVID-19 testing sites will be open to the public at nine locations across the state including four new sites.

Sites will be opened in McKean, Susquehanna, Washington and York counties. Testing sites in Berks, Blair, Centre, Clinton and Somerset will continue to operate.

“Testing is one of the commonwealth’s most important tools in the fight against COVID-19,” Acting Secretary of Health Keara Klinepeter said. “We encourage anyone who feels they need or want a test, especially if they think they have been exposed to COVID-19...
