There are 80 students enrolled in agriculture courses this year at Williamsburg High School. The Williamsburg FFA Chapter is advised by Robyn Bechtel.

FFA LAST YEAR
During the Spring of 2021, the Williamsburg FFA hosted Ag in the Classroom for the elementary students. Over the summer, chapter members went kayaking and exhibited animals at the dairy show and livestock show and sale. Once school resumed in the Fall, students attended the PA FFA Fall Leadership Conference, helped with the Blair County Chamber of Commerce Down on the Farm and made flowers for Homecoming. Students sold fruit, had a Christmas party and made 15 tie-blankets for Family Services, Inc. In January, members attended the PA FFA Mid-Winter Convention to receive their Keystone Degrees and first year jackets. In February, students attended the ACES Conference in Harrisburg.

COMING UP FOR FFA
To celebrate National FFA Week, students will be cooking breakfast for the teachers and having a Minute to Win It tournament. A group will be at the State Legislative Leadership Conference in Harrisburg. Several students will be preparing speeches for the upcoming contests. Students are also looking forward to Ag in the Classroom, Chapter Banquet, Kayak Trip and State FFA Activities Week.
