Central Wrestling Finishes Strong In District 6 AA Championship

This past weekend, the Central Wrestling team participated in the District 6 AA Championship. The team took 17th out of 23 teams, and three individuals placed.

Jaxon Mathews placed third individually. After a first-round bye, Mathews recorded a pin at 0:53 in round two. In round three, he won a 7-2 decision. Then, he lost a 2-1 decision in the semi-finals. He recorded a pin in the third-place match at 6:16.
