Assistant Chief Dusty Russell, President Jeff Hite, Chief Randy Acker, Mayor Richard Brantner Sr., State Rep. Jim Gregory (R-Blair), Jennifer Mearkle (Congressman John Joyce, M.D.), Stacey Zimmerman (Rep. Judy Ward), Deputy Chief Richard Brantner Jr. cut the ribbon for the new and improved Martinsburg Volunteer Fire Company firehall.
Martinsburg Volunteer Fire Company showed off the new addition to the fire hall with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday, Feb. 26, at noon. Some of the participants were State Rep. Jim Gregory (R-Blair), Mayor Richard Brantner and Fire Chief Randy Acker.
Tours were given by Acker to show the new updates of three truck bays, a lounge area and a chief's office.
There is now space to clean used equipment after returning from a call to assure everything is in top working condition for the next call.
