Brenneman Benefit Receives Community Support

Over $8,000 was raised last Saturday during the Heather Brenneman benefit at the Williamsburg Community Farm Show. Not even snow held back from the breakfast – over 8,000 raffle tickets were sold and breakfast was sold out by the end.

The benefit was started by the Class of 2001 to help aid one of their classmates, Heather Brenneman Schur, who battled an inoperable brain tumor and passed away before the benefit.

"I am just in awe of the support we received. We can't thank the community enough," said one of the organizers, Kristan Salyards.
