Park Hosts Class of '29 Basketball Tournament

Hollidaysburg won first place in the Class of 2029 Boy's Basketball Tournament. Once again, Morrisons Cove Memorial Park is the magnet that attracts out of town youth athletic teams to the Martinsburg area.

Besides hosting 6 different AAU volleyball tournaments this winter that attracted teams from as far as Pittsburgh, the Park recently hosted their annual "Class of 2029 Boy's Basketball Tournament."

A new champion was crowned in 2022 as the Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers took home the gold. Previous champions in the tournament included Holy Trinity (Bishop Guilfoyle) in 2020 and Portage in 2021.
