Research Identifies Challenges to Accessing Mental Health Services in Rural Pennsylvania

It’s no secret that barriers to receiving mental health care have existed for years.

Research has shown disparity in mental health service use in rural areas nationwide, as rural residents are significantly less likely to receive any mental health treatment compared to urban residents.
