Loader Catches Fire

A loader owned by the DeGol Organization caught fire at the Altoona-Blair County Airport. The fire would appear to go out and then flame up again, and was attributed to a leaking fuel line. In the end over 500 gallons of water were used to fight the fire.

Williamsburg Borough Council approved the purchase of new equipment for EMS and fire that would meet the new requirements for the mandated 911 upgrade.

Martinsburg borough announced plans to pave South Market and North First Alleys and the new street beside Ed’s Riverside.
