Roaring Spring Council Commends Police, Gives Mountain Ground Update

Roaring Spring Borough Council held its first two regular meetings of 2022 on Jan. 10, and Feb. 14.

At its regular meeting on Jan. 10, Police Chief Greg Wyandt reported that nearly a quarter-pound of methamphetamine with a value at $9,000 was removed from the streets after a December arrest.

The drug bust in question happened on Dec. 30, after Roaring Spring police followed a vehicle onto a restricted area on Papermill Road and discovered the drugs in the vehicle. Two people, Isaac Detwiler and Amanda Wilson, were arrested at the scene and charged with various drug offenses.
