Eleven veterans received quilts during a Quilts of Valor ceremony. The quilts were made by local members of the Patriotic Piecemakers of PA.
On Friday evening at the Lutheran Church in Duncansville, 11 veterans received quilts made by the local members of Patriotic Piecemakers of PA.
These quilts serve a tangible reminder of appreciation and gratitude for service members. They are wrapped around the veteran when presented to bring comfort.
There were seven Army veterans, one Marine, one Navy, and two Air Force in this group of veterans.
