William Ray Lee Sr., 77, of Williamsburg, passed away Tuesday afternoon, April 5, 2022, at his home.

He was born March 5, 1945, in Ganister, rural Williamsburg, son of the late Harry Ray and Hannah Elizabeth (Loose) Lee. On January 4, 1963 he married Violet P. Cartwright in Frederick, Md.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years; two daughters: Tammy L. Shultz and Pamela J. Dopp (Andrew); two sons: William R. Lee Jr. (Lisa) and Robert E.
