NBC Baseball Sees Solid Win Against Tussey

The Northern Bedford County Baseball Team improved its record to 3-0 this week in the only game they played with a 4-0 win at rival Tussey Mountain on Tuesday evening.

The game remained scoreless for two full innings until a Brooks Snider single scored Reyan Imler for the first run of the game in the top of the third. The Panthers added another run in the fifth inning thanks to an Eion Snider single, and another two in the sixth inning thanks to a Noah Kochara groundout and a Reyan Imler single.

Panther freshman Reese Musselman threw a gem in this game. He threw seven shutout innings, only allowing two hits on weak ground balls. He struck out seven batters and only walked one. All of this was completed in only 86 pitches, 69 percent of which were strikes.

The Panthers had hits by Brooks Snider, Eion Snider, Eli Cherry, Reese Musselman, Noah Kochara, and two by Reyan Imler.

The Titans had hits by Ben Kormanski and Jack Stoudnour.

Up next for the Panthers was a home showdown with Fannett Metal on Monday afternoon.
