Property Improved in Woodbury

Orville Hoover of Woodbury improved his property along Mill Street by adding a large front porch with stone pillars.

Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Gable of Philadelphia were visitors at the home of the former’s sister, Mrs. George Stewart and family of Martinsburg. They were enroute to Altoona, having come in their car, to visit Mr. Gable’s mother, Mrs. William F. Gable.

Courtney Gayle, infant daughter of Mrs. Elda Edmonson of Altoona, was interred in Fairview Cemetery, the funeral cortege coming in autos from Altoona.The little child was born April 23 and died May 8.
