Claysburg Man Jailed After Altercation with Police

A Claysburg man was jailed after he was found passed out in his car and resisted police.

According to charges filed by Roaring Spring Borough police, on April 26, at approximately 11 p.m., an officer found Garrett N. Weyandt, 38, sleeping in his car in the parking lot of the Roaring Spring Burger King.

Officers learned that Weyandt had an active felony warrant and when they asked him to step out of the vehicle, he refused. Police said they had to reach in a partially opened window to unlock the door and physically remove Weyandt from the car.
