Noise Ordinance Headlines Borough Council Meeting

Officer Adam Hauser of the Williamsburg Police Department questioned Solicitor Nathan Karn about the proposed noise ordinance at the Williamsburg Borough Council meeting, Monday, May 2. Hauser wanted times changed from the current 9:30 p.m. to 7 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. This ordinance would be in effect from Monday to Saturday. On Sunday morning, the ordinance would be in effect until 8 a.m. Noise would be considered loading operations, construction noise and power equipment.
