For the last twenty-nine years, I have been a faithful reader of all things V.C. Andrews. From “Flowers in the Attic” to waiting patiently for her latest to arrive in the mail, I have read all 92+ works that have been published under the V.C. Andrews name. Admittedly, some of the recent works haven’t been my favorite, but out of habit I read “The Umbrella Lady” with mediocre expectations.
