The Central Track team had one Senior Night home meet against the Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers and the Chestnut Ridge Lions.
The girls beat the Lady Lions 91-55, but lost to the Lady Hilltoppers 79-70. The boys lost to both the Lions and the Hilltoppers, 72-69 and 88-62 respectively.
For the girls, Heather Brumbaugh, Dana Heltzel, Julia Ritchey and Jenna Smith won the 4x800 with a time of 12.05.9. Elana Decker, Alana Mingle, Leah Johnston and Lakkyn Dibert won the 4x100 with a time of 53.7. Leah Decker won the 100m hurdles with a time of 16.8. Elana Decker won the 300m hurdles with a time of 51.4 and tied with Alana Mingle in the 200m Dash with times of 28.6. Lakkyn Dibert placed first in the 100m dash with a time of 13.5. Julie Nagy won the pole vault with a height of 7’6”.
For the boys, Spencer Horton won the 110m hurdles with a time of 16.7. Eli Lingenfelter won the long jump with a distance of 18 feet, 8-1/2 inches. Kade Rhule won the javelin with a distance of 145 feet, 10-1/2 inches. Brady Albright won the discus with a distance of 116 feet, 5 inches.
The track team will now send its best members to participate in the LHAC championship at Saint Francis this week.
