RS Man Critically Ill

James Johnson of Roaring Spring was critically ill at his home, with no hope of recovery. Old “Jimmie” was one of the “boys” of ‘61, a member of the First Regiment, Pennsylvania Artillery, attached to the Pennsylvania Reserves, and of course, “Jimmie” heard it thunder.

Mrs. J. Bowman, who lives at Allegheny Furnace, was held up in broad daylight and robbed of $5.

Mr. Harry Hartman and his best lady friend were callers at the residence of Mr. Andrew Diehl on Monday.

Mr. F. N. Byers of Henrietta was confined to his home with an attack of typhoid fever.
