Memorial Service to Honor Fallen, Gold Star Families in Altoona

On Sunday, May 29, at 10:30 a.m., The Faith Baptist Church of Altoona, PA will be conducting a special service to honor all Gold Star families in the region. The service will have a patriotic theme and will feature as guest speaker, Mr. Burton Kephart, who himself is a Gold Star father.

On April 8, 2004, Burt and his wife, Donna, lost their own son, Specialist Jonathan Kephart, when he was killed in action while serving our country. They both understand the great grief a mother and father face when their child is killed in action.
